Medium to large, compressed, involute ammonites (s.s.) with slightly convex sides and a very narrow venter. Smooth or with faint falcoid ribs. Early whorls have umbilical tubercles which later shift to a mid side location. The suture line is fairly straight. Sutures are ammonitic with many auxiliaries.
