Jump to: navigation, search

Parent taxa: Lycopodiopsida, Selaginellales.

Age: Late Carboniferous onwards.

Comments: Selaginellites is a form genus for fossil plants comparable to the modern Selaginella. Thomas (1997) recommended that the name 'Selaginellites' be restricted to anisophyllous and solely vegetative specimens, while more complete taxa could be referred to Selaginella.
