"Adenomera andre"???

Adenomera is a "leptodactylid" frog genus; A. andre does not seem to exist -- this article is the only ghit for it. So I'll delete it. David Marjanović 13:42, 8 May 2008 (PDT)

Thanks for that. An Adenomera andre was mentioned in passing in Dixon & Soini (1986), probably as lizard food. I would have put it here until I worked out where it was supposed to go because it was only referred to as an "amphibian". Deleting it allows me to remove the citation from the reference list as well.Christopher 00:19, 9 May 2008 (PDT)

Gymnophiona

I forgot to mention: many paleontologists have called the total group Gymnophiona and the crown-group Apoda, but Apoda Haworth 1809 is a moth genus that was named one year before Apoda Oppel 1810. Thus, the latter should be avoided (Dundee 1989, Wilkinson & Nussbaum 2006). The neontologists seem to consistently use Gymnophiona for the crown-group, and Wilkinson & Nussbaum 2006 as well as Frost et al. 2006 suggest this usage explicitly; the total group will be named in an upcoming manuscript.
