Nectocaris
Do we have some references for the possible placement of Nectocaris in Vetulicolia?--Stanton 07:54, 23 February 2007 (PST)
- Dzik (1995) placed it as a stem chordate, without considering vetulicolians (not that many vetulicolians had evn been described in 1995). The superficial similarity in bauplan between Nectocaris and vetulicolians I noticed myself. [NB. A recent review suggested that vetulicolians may not be deuterostomes after all. - Is that the new suggestion that the Vetulicolia may be arthropods? Also, do you know what "Vetulicolia" translates as?--Stanton 08:36, 24 February 2007 (PST)
Dinomischus
Do we have any information on the placement of Dinomischus? I remember hearing somewhere that they may have been giant kamptozoans (relative to the modern species).--Stanton 08:50, 24 February 2007 (PST)
