Rursus sum

Rursus Siderespector am Tomas Sören Kindahl, Sternahwerfilaʀ (ᛊᛏᛖᚱᚿᚨᚺᚹᛖᚱᚠᛁᛚᚨᛉ), a crazed comptecher/programmer who peek into Life (palaeos/tolweb/mikko's phylogeny), Universe (wikipedia/nasa.gov/esa.int) and Everything (the rest). The answer is not 42. I will discuss the answer on email if you wish, but otherwise I refer to Wikipedia "Life", for a proper discussion ground about the Meaning of Life Problem.

Time Zone

I reside at MET (GMT+1), so that my noon is at 1100 GMT in the winter, and at 1000 GMT in the summer. Now I may be active between 800-2200 GMT, but when matters resolve the window will be 1600-2200 GMT. Geographically I'm in Linköping, Östergötland, Sweden - about 250 km south west from Stockholm.

I did

1. Implement the timescale color templates, and applied them to the geological timescale templates. Ready. rursus 11:59, 10 November 2006 (PST)
2. Insert the timescale color templates at the Time node. rursus 16:05, 10 November 2006 (PST)
3. Transfer Cenozoic from palaeos.com to here. rursus 16:05, 10 November 2006 (PST)

Giv'em to me, and I'll bang the Bible into their heads, since they've not read it enough, obviously. Evolution are the HOLY programmer fingers of GOD - by denying evolution they deny the fingers of GOD!!

About those "christian" truth violators, read a very short opinion here!

Why I'm here

My jump into palaeos.org is motivated by thinking:

  • palaeos.com is hard to handle by a few maintainers, a whole community is needed,
  • wikipedia should remain an ordinary encyclopedia, readable for everyone, palaeos.org should be a similar but (extremely) detailed scientific source suitable for precollecting information like palaeos.com of ole times. Information shall gush!!
  • generally I'm icsjdifaisdfiausidfuiuasdif:ing around randomly dizzily, whithout knowing my own goal - but now I know it: I'll study how to make a real efficient Wiki Engine.

Netizens are amoeboid electrozoa slippering around the globe

I exist as other incarnations, at other XYZ-coordinates too:

web.comhem.se/~u75503063, in Swedish only (sob)!
rursus.se - nothing of importance here yet!
Wikipedia User Rursus - here I'm making laborations about how to design templates to fit the Palaeos.org needs.

Some Plans

My near time plan of what to do here involves:

  • writing some articles on the Hadean - the borderland between geology and solar system astronomy,
  • hacking templates to make Palaeos.org easy to edit and maintain:
  • since I'm a computer nërd in ordinary life, I like numbers - therefore I'll participate in maintaining the time intervals to be up-to-date and consistent.
  • port as much information as possible from palaeos.com to palaeos.org, and niceify the contents (not that there's anything wrong with palaeos.com - it's just not wiki-adapted),
  • maybe try attract some more helpers to this project...
  • mess around and repair my own errors...
