The Dainellinae is a subfamily based on tne genus Dainella, proposed by Cozar and Vachard, 2001, which they concluded as ancestral to the Fusulinida, forming the link from the Endothyrida.

Dainellinae, which gets its name from the genus Dainella, can reasonably be equated with the  Endostaffellinae (Loeblich& Tappan, 1988); Dainella being neither the earliest to have appeared or the first to have been named and described. First of the "Dainellinae" to have appeared, based on content of the Endostaffellindae, are Elergella , Eoquasiendothyra, and Granuloferella, all of which have their beginnings in the Upper Devonian.  Most of the "dainellins" are Tournasian or Visean, some to the Moscovian (Kinderhook-Osage to Atokan-Desmoinsian; L Miss - M Penn).

The Loeblichiinae, Globoendothyrinae, Eoendothryanopsinae, Ozawainellacea, and Staffellacea are given (C&V'01) as derived from the Dainellinae. The Leoblichiinae was previously given (L&T'88) as a subfamily in the Loeblichiidae, the earliest family in the Fusulinacea, with its orgin in the Middle Devonian well before the Dainellinae.  The  Ozawainellacea and Staffellacea  are superfamlies proposed by Solov'eva 1978 out of the Fusulinacea von Moller 1878 , and are basically the Fusulinacean families Ozawainellidae and Staffellidae.  Eoendothryanopsinae and Globoendothyrinae are based, respectively, on Eoendothyranopsis and Globoendothyra, somehat similar genera in the  Endostaffellinae.

The Loeblichiinae, which supposedly is dervied from the Dainellinae (Cozer & Vachard 2001) is considerd a subfamily of the Loeblichidae (L&T '88)  However it is possible that the Loeblichiidae is an artifact of two unrelated subfamilies.  The Nanicellinae (p250, pl 253 L&T'88) is M-U Dev, Givetian - Frasnian.  The Loeblichiinae (p251, pl 253, L&T'88) is L Carb (Visean ) to U Carb (Moscovian) Note the Tournasian gap.  The Leoblichiidae might be reduced to just the  Loeblichiinae which would make its derivation from the Dainellinae ( =? Endosataffellinae) possible.
